The Township of South Algonquin appoints an independent licensed auditor for the purpose of annually auditing the accounts and transactions of the municipality. This auditor is selected through the Request for Proposal process. The Auditor completes the annual audit and expresses an opinion on the consolidated financial statements, based on the findings of the audit.
