The Library Board is Looking for New Members

Are you interested in joining a dedicated group of volunteers who are working hard to ensure that our local libraries are growing and servicing residents effectively? Applications are being accepted for positions for the Township of South Algonquin Library Board.

To be a volunteer on a public library board in Ontario and in accordance with the Public Libraries Act, R.S.O. 1990, to qualify, an applicant must be:

  • a Canadian Citizen
  • at least 18 years of age
  • a resident of the Township of South Algonquin
  • not employed by the Township of South Algonquin
  • not convicted of an indictable offence

Persons interested in serving on the Township of South Algonquin Public Library Board should indicate their interest in writing to the undersigned no later than April 29th, 2021 at 3:00 p.m.
