Under Haliburton Forest’s management, the operation continues to reflect a strong commitment to responsible forestry practices—balancing productivity with environmental stewardship and long-term forest health.

The facility processes a variety of wood products used in construction and manufacturing, helping move timber “from forest to finished product” while supporting the broader forestry supply chain across the region. Although it is a working industrial site and not open for public tours, it stands as a visible reminder of the area’s strong connection to the forest industry.
