Mayor Dumas and the Council of the Township of South Algonquin regretfully acknowledge the resignation of our CAO/Clerk treasurer Holly Hayes effective mid May.
During her tenure as the CAO/Clerk Treasurer Holly has exemplified her commitment to the growth and enhancement of our community through her dedication and vision of excellence in every aspect of her job.
Holly has supported township staff in their work and encouraged them in expanding their skills and knowledge of working in the municipal environment. She has been diligent in ensuring the safety and well being of each staff member during the ongoing COVID situation.
As the CAO/Clerk Treasurer Holly has worked closely with our local members of provincial and federal government and many government organizations including our neighbouring townships. As Mayor I have witnessed her professionalism and have received feedback on the respect that
people have for her and her commitment to South Algonquin.
Mayor Dumas and Council wish Holly all the best in her future plans and thank her for her excellent work for the Township.
Council will be proceeding immediately to begin the recruitment process to fill the vacancy
